The Swarovski T2 adapter is the Nikon-mount link in the brand's TLS APO digiscoping system, letting you turn your spotting scope into a long telephoto for the camera. It carries a Nikon F bayonet on one side and a standard T2 thread on the other, so you fix it to a Nikon DSLR or mirrorless body and then screw the assembly onto the TLS APO lens, which in turn mounts to the eyepiece of your scope. Built from metal for a precise, play-free fit, it holds the camera squarely on the optical axis with no light leakage. There is no electrical contact, so focusing and metering are handled manually through the scope - the way most digiscopers prefer to work when photographing deer, birds and other game at distance. For the stalker or wildlife watcher who already runs a Swarovski scope, it is the small but essential part that lets you record the moment rather than just watch it.
