The shell is 80% wool and 20% nylon, combining wool's natural temperature regulation and moisture management with the durability of a nylon reinforcement. A bonded WINDBREAKER® membrane blocks the wind, while a DWR finish sheds light rain and drizzle — useful whether you're waiting on a high seat, walking up in blustery weather, or covering ground on the hill. Weighing 0.7 kg, it sits neatly in the mid-layer position under a waterproof shell, but the loden green colourway and tidy cut mean it can double as a standalone outer layer in dry or settled conditions. The full-length zip lets you vent heat quickly when the pace picks up, and YKK® hardware keeps things running smoothly with cold or gloved hands.
