The Swiza D01 All Black is a compact Swiss-made pocket knife from Delémont-based Swiza, built around the maker's distinctive 360° ergonomic shell. Where the standard D01 runs a bright, machine-polished finish, the All Black version takes every metal component through Swiza's own black PVD titanium nitride coating, leaving tools, blade and plating uniformly matt black. It carries a 440 stainless blade hardened to 57 HRc, held shut by a lock that's released by pressing the Swiza cross rather than left to spring free. Blade and tools carry finger-grip slots so either hand can open them cleanly. The shell itself is finished in a scratch-resistant soft-touch material that stays secure in a wet or gloved grip, and this orange handle pairs the black hardware with a coloured shell for a quick way to tell knives apart in a kit bag. Sizing follows the rest of the D01 All Black range, at 95mm closed and 66g. It's dishwasher-safe up to 80°C — worth a drop of oil on the pivots afterwards.
