Tier One's 17mm dovetail scope rings are made specifically for rifles carrying the Tikka-pattern factory dovetail rail, in this high-height configuration to suit a 30mm scope tube. Each set is machined from solid 7075-T6 aluminium billet on five-axis CNC equipment, and Tier One's process cuts the operations needed to finish a ring from eight down to two — fewer re-settings mean less accumulated error and a tighter, more consistent fit to the rail. Rings are supplied as a matched pair machined to close tolerances, so there's no lapping to do before mounting; they're ready to fit straight out of the box, along with a set of custom-made stainless steel mounting screws produced at Tier One's own facility. Built for repeatable zero and consistent grouping rather than absorbing heavy recoil, they're intended for standard and moderate-recoil calibres — Tier One recommend a picatinny rail set-up instead for magnum or high-recoil rounds. A practical, precisely made mounting solution for anyone running a Tikka rifle who wants their optic held exactly where it was zeroed.
