The Tipton Cleaning Pellet Jag is a nickel-plated jag sized for .270 and 7mm calibre rifles, made to be used with Tipton Felt Cleaning Pellets rather than traditional patches. It threads onto a standard cleaning rod and holds a compressed-felt pellet, which is then pushed through the bore to lift out fouling, carbon and old solvent in a single pass. Because the felt pellet fills the lands and grooves more evenly than a folded patch, it gives a consistent, repeatable clean and is quicker to load between passes. The nickel plating resists the bore solvents and cleaning chemicals that would corrode a bare jag over time. This is a single replacement jag, useful for stalkers and rifle shooters who already run the Tipton pellet system and need the correct calibre tip for their .270 or 7mm bore, or who want a spare to keep with their cleaning kit. It is a gun-cleaning tool, not ammunition, and does not include pellets.
