These Tipton Felt Cleaning Pellets are a bore-cleaning consumable for .338/8mm calibre rifles, supplied in a pack of 50. They are not ammunition: each pellet is a disc of compressed heavy felt that you push through the barrel on a cleaning rod to lift out dirt, fouling and lead residue. Because the felt fills the bore evenly, it makes far more consistent contact with the lands and grooves of the rifling than a folded patch, so a single pass clears more and you waste fewer consumables getting a barrel clean. The pellets are tough and durable, and most stalkers and target shooters find them quicker and tidier to use than cutting and threading patches in the field or at the bench. The pack includes one calibre-correct nickel-plated jag, giving you the correct fit straight away for running pellets through a .338 or 8mm bore.
