A three-pack of calibre-specific bronze bore brushes from Tipton, sized for .20 rifle barrels and built to scrub out the fouling that wrecks accuracy. The bristles are phosphor bronze, softer than barrel steel so they will not score the rifling, yet aggressive enough to lift baked-on carbon, powder residue and copper and lead deposits from the bore. Each brush is packed with the maximum number of bristles the calibre will take for full, even contact on every pass. The core is a single piece of brass wire running through a threaded brass coupler, so the brush will not shed bristles or part from the coupler inside the barrel. The coupler uses the standard 5-40 thread, fitting Tipton and most common cleaning rods. Run a brush wet with solvent through the bore, follow with patches, and your .20 stays clean and consistent shot to shot. Supplied as three brushes, so you have spares on hand when bristles eventually wear and a fresh brush is due.
