The nylon bristles are gentle on rifling and barrel steel, so they are well suited to routine maintenance and to stalkers who clean little and often without wanting to risk a tight bore. Because the nylon is unaffected by most modern solvents, including the ammonia-based copper removers that quickly degrade bronze brushes, you can leave the brush soaking or run it wet without ruining it. The core is a single piece of wire, looped at the tip and finished with a crimped coupler rather than a sharp protruding end, which keeps the muzzle and crown safe.
