The Broadside Fox is a full-size fox silhouette cut from 10mm Hardox 500 steel, sized at roughly 760mm x 440mm and presented side-on, with two 50mm reactive kill zones built into the plate for instant feedback on a well-placed shot. It's the largest of Tom's Targets' fox silhouettes and the classic broadside presentation you'd get from a fox sat up in a field at range, so it's a good target for longer-range rifle practice as well as close work. Hardox 500 has a nominal Brinell hardness of 500 HBW, which is what stops a bullet penetrating the plate, and the profile is laser cut for a crisp, accurate outline. It's supplied in its natural mill finish, ready to paint and maintain in your own colour, and it's rated for all firearms except .50 calibre and above. As with any reactive steel target, keep a sensible distance back, wear eye protection, and never use armour-piercing or steel-core ammunition on it.
