The Front Facing Fox is a life-size fox silhouette cut from 10mm Hardox 500 steel, sized at roughly 350mm x 450mm and presented head-on rather than side-on — the narrow, awkward profile you actually get when a fox is called in and stops to look at you. It's a genuinely different shot to a broadside target: less plate to aim at, and it rewards the precise, centred hold you need for a clean shot on a fox facing you at close range. Hardox 500 has a nominal Brinell hardness of 500 HBW, which is what stops a bullet penetrating the plate, and the profile is laser cut for a crisp, accurate outline. It's supplied in its natural mill finish, ready to paint and maintain in your own colour, and it's rated for all firearms except .50 calibre and above. As with any steel plate target, stand well back, wear eye protection, and never fire armour-piercing or steel-core ammunition at it.
