The Soft Ground Spike version of Tom's Targets' Pro Stand is a 10mm Hardox 500 AR500 target stand built from four interlocking pieces, with a spike base designed to push into grass, turf or soft field ground rather than needing a hard, level surface. It's built to carry Tom's Targets' teardrop gongs, torsos and other AR500 silhouettes from the range, and the stand includes an extension arm that takes a Hornady HIT indicator, supplied as standard - the HIT flashes on impact and, per Hornady, is visible at long range, useful when you're calling hits from well back on a stalking or long-range setup. Assembly is tool-free: the four pieces interlock, so the stand goes together and breaks down again without extra kit for transport between sessions. As with any AR500 steel target, wear eye and ear protection, avoid armour-piercing or steel-core ammunition, and shoot from a safe minimum engagement distance. Suitable for centrefire rifle calibres; Tom's Targets rate their Hardox 500 plate for all firearms except .50 calibre and above.
