The U-Power Matt is a lightweight, trainer-style safety shoe built to feel as little like a safety shoe as possible. The AirToe aluminium toecap weighs just 54g, a fraction of a conventional steel cap, fitted to a low-profile PUTEK upper that's highly abrasion-resistant, water-repellent and breathable. The sole is a new-generation PU compound — anti-abrasion, hydrocarbon-resistant, anti-slip and anti-static — over a Save&Flex Air metal-free anti-puncture insert, so there's no steel underfoot to add weight or transmit cold. A WingTex lining wicks moisture away to help keep feet dry and fresh. Certified to EN ISO 20345 in protection class S3 SRC CI ESD, the Matt combines puncture resistance, slip resistance, cold-rated sole insulation and ESD anti-static protection, making it a genuine certified safety shoe rather than a trainer with a badge sewn on. The low weight and flexible construction suit tradespeople who are on their feet and moving all day — electricians, carpenters, warehouse and logistics staff — where a heavy boot slows the job down.
