The Vortex StrikeFire II is a rugged, tube-style red dot sight built for fast target acquisition on AR-15 platforms, as well as shotguns and other host firearms taking a 30mm ring mount. This version gives a user-selectable dot colour, red or green, on a 4 MOA reticle that's easy to pick up quickly in close-quarters work while remaining fine enough for accurate shooting further out. Unlimited eye relief means the sight can be mounted anywhere along the rail without hunting for a fixed eye position. Ten brightness settings cover everything from dim indoor ranges to bright daylight, with the lowest two settings compatible with night-vision devices, and the sight remembers the last brightness setting used when powered back on. Rear-facing controls keep adjustments within easy reach without breaking your firing position. The 30mm anodised-aluminium chassis is nitrogen purged and O-ring sealed, giving it a high recoil rating alongside waterproof and fogproof performance, and it's supplied with an AR-optimal cantilever mount that positions the optic 40mm above the rail for a proper lower 1/3 co-witness with iron sights.
