The Vortex Triumph HD 3-9x40 is a compact, out-of-the-box-ready riflescope for hunters who want dependable glass without complication. The HD optical system uses select glass elements for sharp, edge-to-edge clarity, and every air-to-glass surface carries fully multi-coated anti-reflective coatings for strong light transmission in low light. The second focal plane Dead-Hold BDC reticle holds a constant size through the zoom range and gives useful holdover points for shots at varying distances, brought into sharp focus quickly by the fast-focus eyepiece. Elevation and windage turrets are capped, adjust in 1/4 MOA clicks with 15 MOA per rotation, and offer 55 MOA of total travel in each direction; parallax is factory-set at 100 yards. The one-piece aircraft-grade aluminium tube carries a low-glare matte black finish and is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof, built to withstand recoil and rough handling in the field. At 11.8in long and 16.5oz, it comes complete with 1in Low Hunter mounting rings, a neoprene scope cover, a custom turret tool and a lens cloth, so it's ready to mount and zero straight from the box.
