The Vortex Viper HD 3000 is a compact handheld laser rangefinder built for hunters who need speed and precision, whether they're glassing open hillside or picking a shot from a treestand. Its HD optical system pairs 7x magnification with a 25mm objective and XR Plus lens coatings, delivering a bright, clear sight picture for spotting and ranging game at distance. The unit reaches up to 3,000 yards on reflective targets, 2,300 yards on trees and 2,000 yards on deer-sized game, with four target modes (Normal, First, Last and ELR) and two ranging modes (HCD and LOS) covering everything from a level field shot to steep mountain terrain. A red OLED display with adjustable brightness keeps the readout legible in low light, and the housing is waterproof and shockproof to cope with a working stalking kit. Compact and light at 9.1oz, it runs on a single CR123 battery and comes with a soft carry case, wrist and bungee lanyards, a lens cloth and a hook-and-loop harness attachment, so it's ready to clip straight onto a binocular harness or pack strap for the hill.
