The Warne Maxima two-piece scope bases (M902/876M) are precision-engineered steel mounting bases for the Remington 700 action and a wide range of compatible rifles including the Howa 1500, Bergara B-14 and Nosler M48. Inspired by the Weaver cross-slot design, they sit low on the receiver to maintain a natural shooting position and leave room to use iron sights should you need them. Each base features a full-width, full-depth recoil slot that allows the recoil control keys in Warne Maxima rings to engage across the complete slot, providing a robust and slip-resistant mounting platform. Steel construction offers a significant strength advantage over aluminium alternatives. The pair attaches using high-tensile Torx-style 6-48 screws. Made in the USA, the Maxima steel bases are compatible with Warne Maxima QD and fixed rings, as well as all standard Weaver cross-slot and Mil-Spec Picatinny rings.
