- Solid steel, vertically split ring construction rated for heavy recoil
- Ruger-specific scalloped recoil key locks the ring positively into the receiver dovetail
- Mounts with 4 T-15 Torx socket-cap screws, torqued to a maximum of 25 in/lb
- Matte black finish, sold as a pair, made in the USA with Warne's lifetime warranty
The Warne 1R7M is a pair of fixed, permanently attached scope rings machined to fit Ruger's own dovetail-cut receivers – the M77, Hawkeye and Super Redhawk – directly, so no separate scope base is needed. Each ring is a solid steel, vertically split design built to cope with heavy recoil, and a Ruger-specific scalloped recoil key locks positively into the receiver dovetail for a solid, repeatable mount. Medium height suits a 1 inch scope tube with an objective bell up to 42mm, which covers most compact stalking and vermin-control scopes rather than the bigger, light-gathering optics that need the taller ring in this range. Four T-15 Torx socket-cap screws clamp the scope in place, torqued to a maximum of 25 in/lb, and Warne backs the rings with a lifetime warranty. Because the fit is permanent rather than quick-detach, the 1R7M suits a Ruger rifle carrying one scope for good – a dedicated foxing or rimfire rig – rather than one swapped between optics or between iron sights and glass. Made in the USA.
