The Warne 2R7LM pairs Warne's quick-detach Maxima lever system with Ruger's own dovetail-cut receivers – the M77, Hawkeye and Super Redhawk – so the rings clamp straight onto the action with no separate base, while still letting you lift the scope off and refit it in seconds with return-to-zero guaranteed. Pull the indexable levers to remove the scope and it goes back on without needing to re-zero, which suits a rifle you want to run with irons as a back-up or swap optics between trips. A Ruger-specific scalloped recoil key locks the ring into the receiver dovetail, and the rings are solid steel and vertically split, built to the same heavy-recoil standard as Warne's fixed range. This is the high-height version, suited to a 1 inch scope tube with a larger objective bell up to 52mm – the clearance a bigger front lens needs over the barrel and action. Four T-15 Torx socket-cap screws clamp the scope, torqued to a maximum of 25 in/lb, with the lever tightened by hand only. Made in the USA, with Warne's lifetime warranty.
