The Warthog V-Sharp Classic II in Aqua is a spring-loaded, self-aligning V-sharpener that takes the guesswork out of putting a proper edge back on a knife. Draw the blade down through the V and two 325-grit natural diamond rods, held under calibrated spring tension, sharpen both sides simultaneously at a fixed, matched angle, so there is no need to judge the angle by eye or risk an uneven edge. Three adjustable settings, 20, 25 and 30 degrees, let you match the sharpener to the knife's existing bevel, from a fine kitchen edge through to a tougher fillet or hunting knife. The frame is metal construction finished in a durable powder-coat, and it sits on a solid rubber base that grips the worktop or bench while you work. A pair of finishing steels is included for a final polish once the diamond rods have done the main sharpening. Well suited to kitchen knives, fillet knives, hunting knives and most other flat-blade patterns, the Classic II is solid enough at 709 grams to stay planted through repeated use.
