These are genuine 600-grit diamond replacement rods for the Warthog V-Sharp Classic knife sharpener — a spare part, not a standalone sharpener. Warthog's V-Sharp Classic uses two crossed diamond rods held under spring tension to hone both sides of a blade in one pass, and like any abrasive, those rods wear down with regular use. This pair carries a 600-grit (medium) diamond coating, the middle grade in Warthog's Classic range, sitting between the 325-grit coarse rod the sharpener ships with and the 1000-grit fine rod used for a final polish. Use it to refine an edge that coarse honing has already shaped, removing only a little material while smoothing out the coarser scratch pattern — useful on kitchen, pocket, fillet and hunting knives. Warthog colour-codes its Classic rods by grit, and 600-grit stones are marked green so they're easy to tell apart from the coarse and fine pairs in a drawer. These rods are sized for the original V-Sharp Classic sharpener only; they are not interchangeable with the Xtreme Edge or Classic II models, which take their own dedicated rod sets.
