The Zeiss V8 1.1-8x24 M is a premium hunting riflescope built around the demands of driven hunts, where shots are fast, ranges are close and there is no time to settle behind the glass. The 1.1x to 8x magnification range covers everything from snap shooting at a few metres out to deliberate shots at distance, and the deliberately oversized eye box — wider than the human pupil — means you acquire a full image instantly, wherever your eye lands. Optical quality is underwritten by Schott FL and HT glass, Zeiss T* multi-coating and a 92% light transmission figure that keeps the image bright into last light. Reticle 54 sits in the second focal plane: a fine horizontal bar with crosshairs and an ultra-fine illuminated dot, designed to impose minimal target subtension while giving a height-correction reference when swinging on a running animal. The 30mm main tube is nitrogen-filled and rated to 400 mbar water resistance, and the LotusTec exterior coating sheds rain and grime without smearing. The M designation denotes the integrated Zeiss ZM/VM mounting rail machined into the body, enabling direct fit of compatible rail mounts without separate rings.
