The ZEISS V8 2.8–20x56 M with illuminated reticle #60 and ASV H & S ballistic turrets is the fully-adjustable long-range configuration of ZEISS's high-magnification 56mm riflescope. The ASV H & S setup provides independent elevation and windage turrets, allowing you to account for both bullet drop and wind drift for your specific load and conditions without tools — a significant advantage on open ground where a crosswind is a constant variable. With 92% light transmission across the 2.8–20x zoom range, the image stays bright and usable right to the end of legal shooting time, and the second image plane reticle keeps the illuminated dot at a consistently fine size throughout. The extra-large eye box means mounting the rifle onto a clean sight picture is immediate rather than effortful, and ZEISS T* multi-coating delivers the contrast and clarity needed to read the light properly in the challenging flat conditions that British and Scandinavian hunters encounter most often.
