The ZEISS V8 4.8-35x60 M with ASV H & S takes long-range shot placement a step further, pairing the flagship 4.8–35x60 optical platform with independent ballistic turrets for both elevation and windage. The ASV H & S configuration lets you dial in bullet drop and wind drift as separate, repeatable corrections — invaluable when the wind is unpredictable and shots stretch across open Highland or Alpine terrain. The 60mm objective, Ultra-FL optical system using SCHOTT fluoride glass, and ZEISS T* multi-coating combine for 92% light transmission with outstanding resolution from minimum to maximum magnification. LotuTec lens coating keeps the glass clear in rain and condensation, while nitrogen filling and 400 mbar waterproofing protect the internals in hard field use. The 34mm main tube, 92mm eye relief, and extra-large eye box remain constant. This variant is fitted with illuminated reticle 43 — the milrad-dot design whose dots sit 10cm apart at 100m at reference magnification, giving an immediate distance and holdover reference to complement the turret adjustments. The multifunction illumination button operates silently even with gloves on and deactivates automatically when you lower the rifle.
