Hagopur Wespen-Frey is a 200g tin of biological wasp and insect deterrent developed for use in hunting hides, high seats and lodges, though it works equally well around the home. The product releases a specially blended, naturally-based fragrance that people find pleasant but wasps, hornets, mosquitoes and gnats find anything but — it works on a simple evaporation principle, with the scent spreading steadily through the surrounding air. Because it is biodegradable and free from harsh chemicals, it suits sensitive settings as well as outdoor use. Put out before wasps start building, Wespen-Frey helps stop a nest getting established in the first place — timing matters, since once a nest is already built the deterrent effect is far less useful. One tin lasts around four to six weeks before the scent has fully evaporated, so it needs replacing through the season for continuous protection. Simply open the tin, peel back the protective film and place it wherever wasps or other insects are a nuisance — no spraying, mixing or power supply required.
