Barnes TSX (Triple-Shock X) bullets are a monolithic, all-copper hollow-point projectile for handloaders, supplied 50 to a box. Machined from a single copper alloy with no lead core, the TSX opens on impact into four sharp petals that produce a wide wound channel while the solid copper shank stays intact, giving near-100% weight retention and deep, reliable penetration. Grooved rings cut into the bullet's shank reduce the amount of copper in contact with the bore, cutting friction, fouling and chamber pressure compared with a plain-shank monolithic bullet. Being lead-free, the TSX is a straightforward choice where lead projectiles are restricted or simply not wanted in the field. This .375 calibre, 300-grain loading is the heavier option within the .375 bullet range, giving the extra sectional density and penetration handloaders want for larger and more dangerous plains game. As with all reloading components, work up loads carefully using a current manual and check them against your own rifle before hunting with them.
