Frankford Arsenal's untreated Corn Cob Media is a dry tumbling media used to clean and polish brass cartridge cases before reloading, supplied here in a bulk 15lb box. Made from ground corn cob, it's the media of choice where a bright, polished finish on fired brass matters most: it won't clean quite as aggressively as walnut hull media, but it brings up a noticeably brighter shine, making it a popular final-stage or general-purpose media for handloaders who want their brass looking as good as it shoots. Loaded into a rotary or vibratory case tumbler such as Frankford Arsenal's own Quick-N-EZ, it works through a batch of cases to lift off powder residue, dirt and grit, protecting reloading dies and chambers from the wear that dirty brass can cause.
