Lee Liquid Alox is a ready-to-use liquid lubricant for handloaders who cast or swage their own lead bullets. Brushed, dipped or tumble-lubed onto the bullet before sizing and seating, it coats the whole surface like a thin jacket and dries to a soft, varnish-like film that clings rather than flaking off. That coating eliminates leading in the bore, one of the main causes of poor accuracy with cast bullets, and the dried film does not degrade gunpowder once the round is loaded. Liquid Alox is easy to apply by hand and, on most cast bullets, removes the need for a separate sizing step altogether. It works with any cast or swaged bullet, but is most economical when used on micro-band bullets, which are designed specifically for tumble lubing rather than grease-groove lubrication.
