The Lee Factory Crimp Die (Collet Style) for .350 Legend is a single reloading die designed specifically for applying a reliable rifle-type crimp to handloaded .350 Legend cartridges. The die uses a collet mechanism rather than a roll crimp: as the ram is raised, the collet compresses radially around the case mouth, squeezing the brass uniformly onto the bullet to lock it firmly in place. Because the collet generates considerable clamping force, bullets do not need a pre-cut crimp groove — the die will form one during crimping. This makes it particularly useful when working with plain-base or non-cannelured projectiles. The .350 Legend headspaces on the case mouth, so a positive crimp is important for consistent bullet pull and reliable feeding in AR-15 and similar straight-walled-cartridge platforms. The die is made from steel (not carbide) and takes the standard 7/8"-14 thread, fitting any standard reloading press. It is sold as a single die; Lee part number 90445.
