The Lee Bulge Buster Kit is a push-through case conditioning tool for reloaders working with mixed or once-fired straight-wall handgun brass. Cases sized in a standard shell-holder die often keep a stubborn bulge low on the case body, where the shell holder stops the die reaching. The Bulge Buster gets round this by pushing the whole case fully through a Lee Carbide Factory Crimp Die, using an extension sleeve and push-through punch, so the case comes out resized to specification along its entire length rather than just at the mouth. The kit itself comprises the extension sleeve, push-through punch, catch container to collect the sized cases, and full instructions; you will need to buy the calibre-specific Lee Carbide Factory Crimp Die separately. It is used in a single station press, or a turret press with the index rod removed. It suits 380 ACP, 10mm, 40 S&W, 41 AE (using the 40 S&W Factory Crimp Die), 45 ACP, 45 GAP and 45 Win Mag brass; any calibre not on this list cannot be used with the kit, and a case repaired by it should not be fired in a firearm with an unsupported chamber.
