The Lee Universal Shell Holder R20 is a hardened steel shell holder designed to retain cartridge cases securely during full-length resizing, neck sizing, and crimping operations on most single-stage and turret reloading presses. Size R20 covers four cases that share a similar head diameter: .17 Hornet, .22 Hornet, .22 K-Hornet, and 7.65x20mm French Long – making it the right choice for reloaders working with Hornet-family wildcats and the obsolete French pistol round. The holder is machined to close tolerances and drop-fitted to accept the standard 7/8-14 UNF ram interface found on Lee, RCBS, Redding, Forster, and most other press brands, so there is no need to buy press-specific tooling. Note that R-series universal holders are not compatible with the Lee Auto Prime tool or Lee hand priming tools – those require Lee's numbered Auto Prime shell holder set.
