RCBS Formula 2 is a corn cob dry media for cleaning and polishing fired brass cartridge cases before reloading. Made from ground corn cob, it runs in vibratory and Sidewinder case cleaners and is best used as the final stage to bring cases up to a bright, high-lustre finish after a heavier walnut-shell media has done the rough cleaning. The fine corn cob granules work into case mouths, primer pockets and other hard-to-reach areas without being aggressive, so brass comes out clean and shining and ready to size and load. For anyone who handloads their own stalking or target ammunition, clean cases mean smoother resizing, easier inspection for splits or cracks and tidier reloads on the bench. Each pack contains roughly 4lb of media, enough for plenty of tumbling sessions, and the granules can be reused many times before they need replacing. A packet of RCBS polishing compound is included to lift the shine further. The media is securely packaged and easy to store between use.
