The Sako Powerhead Blade in 6.5x55 Swedish is a lead-free centrefire hunting round built around a 100% pure ductile copper bullet. Sako engineered the Blade to solve a persistent problem with copper alternatives — bullets that either fail to expand at longer ranges or over-fragment on close bone hits. The Blade Tip initiates a five-stage controlled expansion sequence that adapts mushrooming to the velocity at impact, giving reliable terminal performance whether you are shooting across a Highland glen or from a high seat at short distance. Bullet weight retention is excellent, reducing the risk of fragmentation in the carcase and preserving meat. At 855 m/s muzzle velocity and a ballistic coefficient of 0.348, the 120 gr (7.8 g) load is well matched to the 6.5x55 SE cartridge for roe, sika and red deer stalking. Being entirely copper and non-toxic, these rounds are legal in lead-free-only areas. Supplied in a box of 20.
