These are Laporte Blaze Mini clay targets in 60mm, supplied in a box of 408, made for clay-target shooting rather than anything you load into a gun. The Mini is the smallest clay used in sporting clays and compak, measuring just 60mm across against the 110mm standard, which makes it a favourite for setting tricky stands. Because it is small and light it comes off the trap arm fast, then sheds speed quickly, and its size fools the eye into reading it as farther away than it is, so shooters tend to give it too much lead. The Blaze finish adds a bright fluorescent top that stands out against trees, skylines and dull weather, helping you pick the target up early on fast or distant presentations. Laporte has built clays and launchers since 1927 and is one of the sport's best-known makers. The 60mm dome seats in standard clay traps set up to throw minis, so it slots straight into club and home-ground use. A box of 408 keeps a practice session or a stand well stocked.
