The Hazard 4 Daisycutter is a modern aviator-style pair of everyday sunglasses in OD green, hand-finished in Italy from bent, welded and screwed steel with a matte PVD or polished (never plated) finish. The frame is computer-modelled and 3D-print refined before being hand-built, and can be bent by the wearer to better match their face shape. Grey lenses carry a U6 UV rating, blocking 99.9% of UV rays, with an anti-reflective coating on the inner face and an oleophobic coating inside and out to shed water, dust and fingerprints. The lenses meet the ANSI Z87.1-2010 standard for light-to-moderate impact protection — useful for general outdoor wear such as walking, driving or a day in the field — though the open aviator design doesn't give full wrap-around coverage, so Hazard 4 doesn't rate them for sport, shooting or combat use. This is the Large size, built with a longer arm and wider nose bridge than the Regular option, and the frame has moulded holes for fitting a retention cord (sold separately).
