The lenses meet the ANSI Z87.1-2010 standard for light-to-moderate impact protection — useful reassurance for general outdoor wear such as walking, driving or a day in the field — though the frame doesn't give full wrap-around coverage, so Hazard 4 doesn't rate them for sport, shooting or combat use.
