The Smith's RegalRiver 6in Floating Fish Gripper is a lightweight, locking fish-landing tool built for anglers who want a secure, humane way to handle their catch. Made from heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant plastic, it clamps onto a fish's jaw with a quick-release locking mechanism, letting you hold or weigh the fish one-handed while keeping fingers clear of hooks and teeth. The ergonomic handle gives a confident, non-slip grip, and the gripper floats if it goes over the side, so nothing is lost mid-session. A wrist lanyard keeps it attached and ready between casts. At 6in overall, it's a compact, easily stowed size that suits small-water and boat fishing alike, and it's particularly well suited to lightweight watercraft such as canoes and kayaks, where deck space and stability are at a premium. Part of Smith's RegalRiver freshwater series, it's a straightforward, durable accessory for anyone who wants a safer, easier way to land, hold and release fish without risking a hand near hooks or spines.
