The Birchwood Casey Star Chamber Cleaning Pads are purpose-built for cleaning the star chamber — the bolt head recess area — of AR-15 and AR-10 pattern rifles chambered in 5.56mm and 7.62mm. The six-point star shape of each pad is designed to reach into the locking recesses of the chamber, where a standard circular patch cannot make full contact. Made from 100% cotton, the pads are absorbent enough to carry solvent into tight areas and dry enough on the return pass to lift fouling without leaving fibres behind. Each pad features a central hole for mounting on a standard cleaning rod, so they work with whatever jag or loop you already have in your kit. The pack contains 100 pads stored in a resealable plastic tube — enough for a long cleaning session or a season of range days without reordering.
