Rubbed gently back and forth over scuffs, dirt and the shiny patches that build up where suede gets rubbed, it abrades away the surface grime while leaving the nap underneath undamaged. It's a dry-only treatment — never use it, or any suede product, on damp material — and works best as a first step, ahead of a suede brush to restore the pile and, where needed, a protector spray afterwards. It suits suede and nubuck footwear as well as bags and other suede accessories, and is aimed at dust, scuffing and surface shine rather than older, deeply set-in stains, which need a dedicated suede cleaner alongside it.
