The Hazard 4 Cluster is a frameless aviator sunglass hand-sculpted and manufactured in Italy, designed in-house by Hazard 4's team in Simi Valley, California. This OD Green frame pairs grey lenses with a steel build that's bent, welded and screwed together rather than moulded, so the arms can be reshaped slightly to sit properly on the wearer's face. The lenses carry an internal anti-reflective coating and an oleophobic treatment on both faces (they are not polarised), and carry a U6 UV rating, blocking out 99.9% of harmful UV rays. They meet the ANSI Z87.1-2010 standard for light-to-moderate impact hazards such as flying particles and wood or metal chips, though — to keep the casual aviator profile — side coverage is reduced, so they don't meet the higher Z87.1+ High Speed/High Mass spec and aren't intended for sport, welding or combat-style use. This Regular size is one of two Cluster frame fits, with a small hole built into the frame for an attachment cord, and they're supplied ready for everyday outdoor wear, travel or general kit use.
