The Nikwax Tech Wash & TX.Direct Wash-In Twin Pack is the complete two-step care system for waterproof clothing. Tech Wash (green) cleans away dirt, sweat and detergent residue without stripping the fabric's Durable Water Repellency (DWR), and restores breathability in synthetic-filled and membrane garments such as GORE-TEX jackets, waterproof trousers and sleeping bags. Once clean, TX.Direct Wash-In (purple) is added in a separate machine cycle to renew the DWR coating and revive breathability — no tumble drying required. Together they address the two most common causes of a waterproof failing: dirt loading and exhausted DWR. Both products are PFAS free, water-based and non-flammable, and come in recycled, recyclable bottles. Each bottle is 300ml — enough for multiple treatments. Suitable for machine washing or hand washing at 30°C.
