2017 bought one pair of Meindl Douvre, ankle high, boots for stalking, general shooting and field walking. After daily use for eight years the rand has just given up and has started to leak...... So will be visiting Bushwear for another pair of Meindl boots, but on this occasion, the higher leg version (just for the extra protection!)..... My experience with my present boots has been exceptional, used every day and in all weathers, forestry and hill, rain or shine. Such good value. Best wishes.

Comfortable boots.

Only wore them a couple of times since recently purchasing these boots and found them very comfortable. Only thing that I found a bit negative about these boots is they are not double stitched like another brand of high end boots I wear. Only more time wearing these boots I will know if they stand up to expectations from them .

My old Meindl Dovres are 8 seasons old, still going strong & still 100% waterproof- this having done many miles mostly on Dartmoor & Exmoor but needed a spare pair, these arrived & were used the following day whilst loading, 100% comfortable & no discomfort.
