Where the Scandinavian Trousers lead with silence and cotton softness, the Ragnar leads with body-following stretch, all-day breathability and a lightweight agility that makes demanding terrain feel manageable rather than exhausting.

The foundation is ArcStretch™ fabric — a 96% nylon and 4% spandex fine canvas that delivers full stretch in every direction while retaining its elasticity across years of hard use. The active fit is cut close to the body, moving with you rather than billowing against the terrain, and articulated knees are pre-shaped to the natural angle of the leg in motion — eliminating the resistance that flat-cut knees create when climbing steep ground or kneeling into position. This is a trouser designed by people who understand what active hunting actually demands from a lower body garment.

The Ragnar carries no waterproof membrane — a deliberate choice that keeps weight and bulk to a minimum while maximising breathability during exertion. In its place, a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment causes water to bead and run off the surface rather than soaking in, providing solid protection in light to moderate rain and damp vegetation without trapping body heat the way a membrane trouser inevitably does. For harder sustained rain, a packable shell layer over the top is the intended solution — keeping the Ragnar's breathability advantage intact when you're moving hard.

Ventilation is exceptionally well engineered for a trouser at this price point. Top and bottom ventilation zips on both legs — with mesh netting backing to keep insects and debris out when open — allow full airflow in warm conditions, making these genuinely suitable for late summer stalking and warm autumn days when a heavier trouser becomes a liability. Back knee adjusters allow the fit behind the knee to be dialled in precisely, eliminating the fabric bunching that can restrict circulation and comfort on long days.

Pocketing is practical and field-ready: two front pockets for easy access, two zipped thigh pockets for secure storage during intense movement, and a dedicated cartridge holder for four rifle rounds inside the right thigh pocket. A D-ring on the left of the waistband provides a secure attachment point for a knife, whistle or other equipment, and an anti-slip inner waistband keeps the trouser in position without a belt throughout the day. Reinforced ankles with a press-stud adjustment strap give a clean, close fit over boot tops or under gaiters.
