The Vortex Adjustable Dog Collar is built for working and walking dogs that spend their days outdoors with an active owner. It's made from durable polyester webbing fastened with an ultra-strong nylon buckle, and the webbing carries a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to shed light rain and mud rather than soak it up — this is a repellent finish rather than a fully waterproof coating, so for wet ground work the PVC-coated version is the better choice. Hardware is lightweight aluminium, kept low-profile so it doesn't snag in cover. The collar adjusts from 15 to 24 inches, covering most gundog and lurcher-sized breeds, and a simple hand wash and air dry is all the care it needs.
