The Mjoelner Buck Mount Plate in Dark Oak (22x13 cm) is a traditional Scandinavian shield-shape trophy plate sized for roebuck, sika hind, mature muntjac and similar small-to-medium European trophies. It's made from solid oak and finished with stain and lacquer in a dark oak colour that gives a warm, heritage backdrop complementing antler without competing with it. The reverse carries pre-drilled, routed mounting holes with indentation around the screw heads so the plate sits flush against the wall once it's hung. The 22x13 cm size suits an average-to-good roebuck head with room around the antlers to read against the wood. Oak darkens and develops character over decades — a trophy taken now will still be sitting on a presentable plate years on.
