Part 251 is the genuine stock bolt washer for Lincoln shotguns, sold individually as a spare part. It fits under the head of the stock bolt, the long bolt that runs through the stock and draws it up tight against the action, and its job is to spread the load evenly across the wood as the bolt is tightened. A worn, missing or damaged washer can let the bolt bed unevenly into the stock, so replacing it is a sensible bit of routine maintenance if you are servicing the stock fixing on your gun.
