The CCL Traditional Gunstock Hand Polishing Kit is a complete hand-rubbing system for finishing or restoring the stock on a shotgun or rifle. The 250ml kit contains CCL Polish, CCL Oil and very fine abrasive finishing paper — everything needed to work from bare or lightly prepared wood through to a high-quality, waterproof hand-rubbed shine. The oil penetrates the open pores of the wood and builds a durable, weather-resistant foundation, while the polish brings up a deep, natural lustre without the heavy artificial look of a sprayed lacquer finish. It can be used on new bare stocks or applied over existing oil or lacquer finishes. No special tools or expertise are required; the process is straightforward and satisfying, and the result is a traditional, shooter-friendly finish that is easy to re-apply and maintain in the field.
