The Frankford Arsenal #514 Hinge-Top Ammo Box keeps 50 rounds of big-bore ammunition organised, protected and easy to label. Moulded from high-density polymer, it is built around a true mechanical hinge that lets the lid open flat and resists breaking in cold weather, a real consideration if your ammunition lives in an unheated gun room or travels in the truck through a Highland winter. The hinge-top design also stops the lid falling shut while you load, which extends the working life of the box. The #514 is sized for the big stuff: Frankford Arsenal's cartridge chart lists .460 S&W Magnum and .500 S&W Magnum alongside classic big-bore rifle rounds such as .45-70 Government, .50-70 Government, .50-110 WCF, 38-56 WCF, 38-70 WCF and 40-65 Ballard, and it will also take 28 gauge shotshells. The flat lid accepts a standard 1in x 2-5/8in printer label so you can mark up load data at a glance, and the boxes stack squarely for tidy storage in the cabinet or on the reloading bench.
