Application is straightforward: coat the stock evenly using a bristle brush, leave for five minutes, and repeat the application until the surface visibly softens and begins to bubble. The loosened finish can then be scraped away cleanly, leaving bare wood ready to receive oil without risk of the old finish interfering with absorption.
