This Jack Pyke set gives you everything needed to fit a sling to a rifle that takes standard 1" swivels. It contains two quick-release swivels with a lock-tight mechanism, so a sling can be clipped on for a day's stalking and taken off again when the rifle goes back in the slip. The swivels are all-metal construction in black and fit all standard studs, making them a straightforward replacement or upgrade for most bolt-action and air rifles. Fitting is handled by the two wood screws supplied: one long and one short, each with a washer, so you can match the stud to the thickness of the fore-end and butt. The lock-tight system keeps the swivel closed under load rather than rattling loose on the move, which matters when you are carrying a rifle over rough ground or up to a high seat. Sold as a pair, the set covers both the fore-end and butt mounting points on a typical stock, leaving you ready to attach a sling and keep both hands free between shots.
