This small Parker-Hale adaptor lets you run American-thread cleaning brushes, jags and implements on a .22 Parker-Hale cleaning rod. The Parker-Hale rod thread and the American 8-32 standard are not interchangeable, so the adaptor screws between the two and converts the rod end to accept any 8-32 attachment. It is a handy bit of kit if you have built up a set of US-pattern brushes and jags but clean your rimfire or small-bore barrels with a Parker-Hale rod, saving you from buying a duplicate set in the other thread. Made from brass, it resists corrosion from solvents and oils and will not mark the bore. The adaptor simply spins onto the end of the rod, ready to take the brush or jag of your choice, then comes off again when you are done. A sensible spare to keep in the cleaning box for anyone stalking with a .22 rimfire or smaller-calibre rifle who wants to mix and match cleaning components across both thread standards.
